Creek Bend Ranch is proud to host Ohio’s first All American Cowboy Gathering on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Burbank, Ohio.

Join us for a fun-filled day of Cowboy musicians, storytellers, live animal demonstrations, artisans, and activities for the whole family. Watch as saddle makers, silversmiths, leather makers, and others share their craft. Experience life on the ranch has real-life Cowboys show their skills. We’re also scheduling plenty of children’s activities including our famous mutton bustin’ for the little ones. And come hungry! We’ll have plenty of food vendors on site including an old fashioned chuck wagon.

Creek Bend Ranch is the home of Buckin’ Ohio, a working cattle ranch that specializes in the breeding and training of professional bucking bulls for SEBRA Extreme Bull Riding, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), and other professional rodeo and bull riding associations across the country.

Owners Denny & Eileen Thorsell and their family have been breeding bulls for decades and providing public bull riding events for over 13 years. The Thorsells believe in strong family values and in giving back to the community. Each event gives them an opportunity to welcome new friends.

“We’re proud to own one of the only working bucking bull ranches in Ohio,” says Eileen. “Here, we live the cowboy life every day and we always treat our guests like family.”

Buckin’ Ohio has been featured on the Fox 8 television show ‘That’s Life’ with Robin Swoboda as well as on the ‘Our Ohio’ program for the Ohio Farm Bureau. Buckin’ Ohio was twice awarded SEBRA Stock Contractor of the Year and was honored with the Ohio Traveler Award in 2013.

Gates open at 2 p.m. and will conclude with a special evening concert at 8 p.m. (You won’t want to miss it!) Adult tickets are $12 at the gate, with all children’s tickets at $5 (ages 6-12).
