The Adventures Media Day Committee is busy preparing for another successful Media Day on March 4, 2014. Media Day brings representatives from regional media outlets together with members of Adventures in Northeast Ohio to listen to presentations on story ideas for our region.
Here’s how Adventures Members can participate by attending and presenting to the media:
#1 – Email your company logo and media profile in PDF format by February 21 to Susan Campbell (susan.campbell@profootballhof.com).
Your company logo will be displayed on the projection screen in the event center during your presentation. If they are not provided by the date requested, they will not be included.
Profile sheets will be printed, put into a binder, and presented to each qualified member of the media. They will be professionally bound, so late additions cannot be added.
#2 – Bring items to be included in the media gift bags.
Each member of the media will be given a gift bag. These bags will be stuffed the morning of the event. If you would like to include an item, please bring these items to the event no later than 10:30 a.m.
During the event, members will provide 90-second presentations on their destination. This presentation can include story ideas, new and upcoming events, and how media outlets can use you as a resource.
Attending members will also be permitted to bring one (1) banner stand to display at the event and are encouraged to stay after the presentations are over to mingle with the media (they may have questions), and learn more about the Hard Rock Rocksino.
If you are unable to attend you still have an opportunity to get your profile in front of the media!
For $25 you can send your profile by the February 21 deadline to be included in the professionally bound binder that will be provided to the media and receive the list of media present after the luncheon. This cost helps to defray printing as well as provide the complimentary meals to qualified members of the media.
